Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning
Good oral hygiene is just as important for dogs as it is for us—but dental problems in dogs often go unnoticed until they cause discomfort. Bad breath, drooling, pain when eating, and gum issues can all be signs of dental disease.
Our Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning service helps prevent plaque build-up and supports your dog’s overall oral health. This treatment can be booked on its own or added to a grooming appointment.
I use the Emmi-Pet system—an advanced ultrasonic toothbrush designed specifically for dogs. It’s completely silent, vibration-free, and motionless, making it ideal for dogs who dislike traditional brushing. Using high-frequency ultrasound, it helps kill bacteria and break down tartar gently, with no scrubbing and no need for sedation.
To begin, I recommend a trial session to gently introduce the brush and assess whether your dog is happy to have their teeth cleaned. I’ll also check for loose teeth or signs of gum disease during this time. If all goes well, we can schedule a full cleaning plan.
Please Note: dogs with loose teeth, excessive plaque, or visible gum disease will need to be referred to a vet.
