At Scruffs no more, Grooming for Dogs in Portsmouth, there is no need to be embarrassed if you or I find fleas on your dog. I am not here to judge your pet care. Fleas are common!
Why You Shouldn’t Feel Embarrassed
It’s important to talk openly about fleas. By sharing experiences and solutions, we as pet owners can support each other learn that these tiny buggers are a nuisance. There is no shame in having a dog that gets fleas; it is simply part of life with animals.
If your dog is found to have fleas when visiting Scruffs no more, Grooming for Dogs in Portsmouth, I will contact you to let you know and give your dog a flea bath (without drying) at a cost of £30. When you come to collect your dog we can discuss the treatments out there for your dog and your home. Please do not be afraid ask – I have seen it all and I can help you.
With modern treatments such as spot on solutions, oral medications, and flea combs, fleas can be swiftly and efficiently managed. Vets and Dog Groomers are well versed in helping you reclaim a flea free home.
What to Do If Your Dog Has Fleas
- Clean your pet’s bedding and your home thoroughly to prevent re-infestation.
- Inform your Dog Groomer as soon as possible, should you have a pending appointment in order for them to make alternative arrangements. Note though you will need to pay the full fee of the groom before your next visit. This is something that all Dog Groomers enforce as it is a loss of earnings to me as I am unlikely to fill your space at such short notice.
